I am in the process of taking delivery of a truck through Kellogg, ID. For me, they had the best deal. I asked about warranties and I could have bought a DaimlerChrysler warranty which is good anywhere. They also sold other aftermarket warranties for less but I was advised against those. I will fly into Spokane and they said they will pick up me, the wife and 3 kids at the airport. I am also having some " extra's " added on too. The accessory department seemed pretty knowledgeable and reasonable as far as price goes. If you want, I can give you the names odf the people I dealt with in sales and accessories. They were " NO BS " type guys. Good luck!

Somewhere out there is a post that someone has about 3 hours worth of things to check before you leave a dealership when you buy a new truck. It's a very comprehensive (****) list, but it would be GREAT. I think it even mentions something about looking for napkins and wrappers stuffed into the frame.

Monkey,

When are you leaving? When ever it is have a safe trip. Are you going to keep the 12 valve?

I bought my truck from Dave Smith, flew into Spokane and they picked us up at the airport and took us to Kellogg.

I did have a couple of small issues with the truck some time after purchasing and had NO problems getting the warranty work done at a local dealer. The only problem as I understand it is if you have enough issues that you try to lemon law it and because you didn't buy it in the state the laws don't apply. I don't know if that is true, just something I have read.

I have had the local dealership send me flyers on specials for parts and service but I haven't taken them up on their offers.
