Since mine is an 08 it will not have the same flashes as your 07 will. I don't even know which one I have. I have to PM RatlRatl w/ my VIN# and have him pull up my info... Mine is either the newest or next to the newest because it "Should have" had the latest one when I bought it in early March...

Thinking maybe they just forgot to put the sticker under the hood, but was wondering:

1) If there is a way to verify what Flash my ECM is on via a scan tool or some trick?

2) If there is any other location I should be looking for the sticker?

I am just kinda a Nut (my wife calls this obsessive) about this stuff and really like to be informed about the work done on the truck and wanted to make sure I looked everywhere before calling the dealer to ask what Flash they did .

Thanks in advance

You have a 2008 right? What is the build date for your truck. Wondering, because mine hasn't had any recalls or flashes/TSB's etc.

Build date on my truck was 9/07

I called the dealer this morning and they told me they did the AQ flash, must have forgotten to put the sticker on......

So if I went in to get my truck re flashed right now, would they use the same flash as they do on the 08s or do they have a different one still for the 07s. ???

There are seperate flashes for the 07s and 08s. They may do the same thing but they still have different numbers associated with them...

Correct! I just had the AY flash performed today at the local dealer. I asked him to install the newer O2 sensors and heat tape, which he did without question. I also asked him to enable high idle, which he did while implementing the new flash. Additionally, he was able to grease the cardan joint, which NO one had been able to locate until today . This dealer is located in Ocala, FL and I must say I'm impressed with their service dep't and the professionalism displayed by their diesel tech.

Back to the AY flash. The tech explained that this flash is intended to help minimize CEL's caused by the O2 sensors by making them less sensitive (or something like that).

I have the AX flash, homemade dpf delete and uplugged egr with not a single code thrown. I have and edge juice w/ attitude but forget to let it clear codes half the time. I must be really lucky.
