Okay i have a buddie with a 6.7 dually, He is straight piped from the turbo back to the stacks, edge juice with attitude and a cortex programer and erg delete. He's running 1600 degrees on the egt when he runs it hard. He only gets 22psi of boost, is that normal or is anyone getting more boost? does anyone have ways to get that egt down? Is there a turbo upgrade available? tryed posting this in the performance section but got no answer.

OK, he has the Edge Juice with Attitude. Did he install the EGT Probe in the exhaust manifold?
I am not sure, but 1600 is OK if this only shows up when running hard. The truck should run an EGT of around 580 to 650, on flat ground, with no load.
As for the boost reading, I think I read in past post that 40 is the max that the Attitude will show, since it is reading what the main computer is giving it. I take it that the boost might be higher than shown on the Attitude.

when he does 170kph he runs 1600 he sometimes does this for longer than he should. i know hes worryed about the engine melting something. Do the 6.7s have hardened valve seats like the common rails? Has anyone had them fall out yet if they do have them?
