Exhaust brake
If it works like an aftermarket it will engage when the engine is below a certain temp when idling. After the engine warms up it will go to whatever the position is that disengages until it knows it needs to engage. This will keep the gate moving on a regular basis and prevent it from getting carboned up.
Stroop, Only two of four are cracking so far and I can't get permission from the war department to spend any money right now.
