Engine Seems To "Cut Out" Briefly While Idling

So far, I'm enjoying my truck now that most of the little gremlins I had at the beginning have worked out. The almost constant CEL's have now diminished to almost none. However, here's another little glitch that I've been noticing lately, which may be normal, but I'll let you guys comment on that.

On occasion, while idling, the engine seems to "die" for a split second. It doesn't appear to be getting worse and the truck runs beautifully otherwise. My concern is having the engine die at the wrong time or place, especially when towing. Are these brief "engine cutouts" a precursor to a larger problem or is it nothing to worry about? BTW, I have already replaced the fuel filter about 2k miles ago. Thanks...

Mine has a slight stumble at idle until it warms up. Been this way since new.

Probably the grid heaters cycling. It adds fuel when they kick on then cuts the fuel fast to keep the engine at idle rpm sounds like a miss.

Thanks for the reply, gents. I guess it's not anything to worry about because it doesn't appear to be getting worse. BTW, I don't think the grid heater has anything to do with it because the temps here are warm enough that it's not needed.

My 5.9 has done it twice and I don't like it either. I've never experienced water in fuel but if I was trying to describe it I would say it acts like it's getting a small shot of water when it happens.

Mine will do it when the AC compressor cuts on after I fire it up cold and turn on the defrost or air conditioning pretty quick.

Mine does it hot or cold, I want to put a pressure guage and see if it's fuel related.
