Plugs in on the pass side of engine behind the alternator. there is a plastic cap over the block heater. You can buy the cord at about any truckstop or auto parts store. Dodge will want upwards of 50 bucks for it. I bought mine at NAPA for $12.

Just bought one from cummins dealer yesterday for $13.41. It plugs in by the oil filter. Kind off a tight fit its not real easy to get your hands in there!

It's a lot easier if you take off the air tube. I did mine tonight, 10 minutes...

So did my sticker, but I have the cord installed. Check the passenger side of your engine bay for the pigtail before you buy one. It might be there already.
