Electronic Throttle Control
That is frequently a sign of low system voltage. Best thing to do is make sure your battery cables are all clean and tight and have your batteries load tested, if one is bad be sure to replace both at the same time.
Thanks for your advice, I will get the batteries check out today.
Also recently, I was asked if I "ride the brake pedal" because my brake lights are on while driving around town. So I have found out that if you pull back up on the brake pedal the lights go out so, would this also cause the Electronic Throttle Control light to come on? So is there an adjustment that I could do to fix the problem?

I just bought a 2016 and the same thing is happening. I get the flashing ETC lightening bolt light. The truck runs fine then the check engine light comes on periodically then it loses power and acts like it wants to stall. It has 611 miles on it. Took back to the dealer and they say it is the gas peddle sensor and wire. They are ordering the part and it is supposed to be fixed by Tuesday. I have read several forums and this issue seems to be a real gremlin of a problem. All of the remedies on other forums are as stated in your post above. Thanks for your post. I hope and pray this fixes the problem.

I would really try and get the turbo looked at. But with the mileage you have seems like a factory issue. the dealer also told me about those same wires supposedly they get hot and break or cause a issue with voltage from them grounding out. if you need anything pm me also don't inject water into the engine hot let it cool completely idle up spray a heavy mist until you hear the turbo blades hitting the water then stop let the truck run a few min after turn truck off reset codes and hopefully you will be good. just really make sure the engine is cold....
