electrical problem 07' cab & chassi

well today I got in my truck after not driving it for a couple weeks & the overhead started dinging & said RR turn lamp out (I think) so I checked for fuses & found nothing, & with my Hillsboro bed & the rear mounted fuel tank I couldn't get into any of the wires, so I pulled the bed loose & checked everything out & can't find anything wrong other than the white wire with a yellow tracer that should be powering the RR turn signals has no power??? also I'll note that on the left side their is a white wire w/yellow tracer that is for the park lights on the drivers side??????? but all the way up to the front of the truck & through the firewall I can't find anything wrong with the wire other than it has no power?? there is a white wire w/yellow tracer that hooks into the multifunction switch I think????? on top of the steering column & it has no power either??? & with the right turn signal on all I have is the front signal marker & it blinks really fast? but with the 4-way flashers on the right front will blink normal?? all the left side lights work properly & the right side park lights work, just no right side turn or brake? & also the RT wire (light green) that goes to the trailer plug works, but it blinks fast like the right front????? any ideas??? could it be the multifunction switch? I'm gonna go try & move the steering column to a different position, I read on here that someone had some luck with that? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! thanks, Dusty

The power comes from the TIPM for the lights. Everything from the multifunction switch is just a signal to the TIPM. Unhook the battery for ten minutes or so, and rehook it and it should be fine. Double check the bulb. Heck...go ahead and replace the bulb. I've seen a crossed filament cause this problem on mine. If you've checked the wire for power, but make sure it isn't shorted to ground as well.
