Edge Insight/Attitude mount/pod

I'm going to purchase an Edge Insight and I wanted to know if anybody has pictures of their mounts/pods. The Edge website only shows the mounts...not in the trucks. I think I'd like the overhead, but I'm still shopping...

Thanks!

Does anybody have the Insight or Attitude installed without a mount/pod? If so, where do you have it located?

I used the velcro that came with it. It is mounted under the radio, where the empty slot is. It is a PITA to drill a small hole to get the wire thru the back. Be very carefull to not drill thru to fast or you will drill against something in the back. Not sure what is back there. Then I used a coat hanger to run the cable, making sure to tape the cable end to the coat hanger, so you don't ruin the connector.

Sorry no pics.

Well, don't waste your money by getting the overhead mount. I got the one from Geno's and waited the extra 5 days to get the extension cable from Edge. Despite being told that the mount should fit the Insight as well the Attitude, it doesn't fit. The Attitude must have a different connector plug (smaller & flatter) than the Insight. The Insight will fit into the hard plastic hole but the Insight has a huge plug on the back left side that comes straight out of the guage. I have not seen the Attitude but it must have a flatter connector as the mount has a groove along the bottom edge of the mount, in where the guage fits, to fish the cable up to and connect to the guage. Behind the hole for the guage is a flap to keep tension on the guage when it's installed, I guess. I cut a hole in the flap, on the left side, to allow the Insight connector to come thru and guess what??!! That worked but the connector plug is too long. It hits the back of the mount and won't let the guage fit snugly into the mount on the left side. I guess pics would explain it better, but I haven't had the time to take any or figure out any other way to make the Insight fit. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a chance to call Geno's and find out how to go with this now, as I've cut the mount up.

Now that looks really interesting!! I have a digital TRAX II fuel monitor for my aux fuel tank that sits on the dash right where it would interfere with a regular pillar mount for the Insight.
This looks like a GREAT solution. It uses the same type of hookup as my TRAX II AND it's cheaper than the piece of ****** plastic overhead mount I bought.
Just wonder about how attractive that might look to some thief seeing the guage there and available by only a couple second smash thru the window???

(The one to the left
The fit, finish, and color match is perfect, looks like factory and is super-easy to install. Plus you keep your factory parts intact.

Edit: Cummins610 beat me by a minute but that is it
Edit 2: Looks great Cummins610 now flip the mirros down please

The Autometer piece is ok,but the included screw to replace the factory one is not long enought. It is a very, very tight fit.
