Yep! got oil on the driveway. I thought it was coming from the sump plug and just put it down to the morons at the garage doing the oil change. So yesterday I got the creeper and slid under the truck to tighten the sump plug. It was tight and it lools like the oil is coming from the rocker cover vent tube..! I checked the oil level and it's fine. The truck runs good - It's noisier than my brothers 04.5 auto but ive heard some are noisier than others.
Any ideas why it could be doing it..? Left over residue from someone over filling it..?

 

Can a mod move this thread to the 03-07 drivetrain and engine please? - I put it in the wrong one...

 

Is the oil dripping from that little black tube that entends down to the Drivers side of your tranny pan??? If so, that is normal. It IS the vent tube. This can happen after a long hard pull etc...
