For the best inexpensive kit go with the H&S delete from rollinsmokediesel.com I had mine in just e few days and price was under 650.00 for the turbo back kit. He is super knowledgable on these trucks.

I agree with Chris, I have been dealing with Rollin Smoke and have loved it. There customer service is great. I got the 6.7 Stage II kit, (aFe intake, edge juice/att, and H&S stg 2) for 1750 bucks.

on the new H&S kit there is a box that plugs into the pressure sensing moduale on the side of the trans that controls when the DPF regens. My kit was the older model so It did not come with it so other than knowing what it does kinda I have no first hand knowledge. If you have a code clearing modual like the Edge theen it is not really needed. If you are not running the boxes then I guess it helps with throwing codes but not eliminate them

So simply replaceing the DPF with a straight pipe and installing the sensors in it will work other than the codes? Will it still go into regen?

I know for a fact that the H&S kit wil not regen again. Mine has not in 10K miles and my milage has increased from 12-16 to 16-19

Plus the truck is a powerhouse on level 5

So the electronics still have to be fooled to stop regen then.

12-16 is pretty good. How heavy are you towing?

yes the electronics need to be fooled. A $1 worth of resistors from radio shack will solve the regen problem but the odds are that you will have a check engine light. Check out the C&C section on Cumminsforum.com as there is a step by step with pics. If you can weld you can make your own kit for under $100 including the delete pipe.

I'll have to check that thread out and see how it's done. I've already got a scan gauge so I can clear codes. Also I don't believe the edge will work with a CC from what I hear.

So, the 2 pressure sensors on either side of the DPF are telling the ECM when exhaust flow blockage is occurring/present. Anyone know if the ECM looks for a pressure differential only, or if it looks for a minimum post-DPF value and/or a maximum pre-DFP value?

Also, what do the 2 oxygen sensors on either side of the catalytic converter measure in terms of voltage? Anyone know which of the 5 wires need a resistor across them?

I put one on a truck from BADP, it took them 6 months to get us the dang programmer, but I did not get any codes. Clean install.
