desperately needing answers please!!!

My dad has an 07 cummins with the g56 that he hot shots with and he noticed a vibration at idle and some while driving. So after doing a little searching on here found out that it was the dual mass flywheel. So to make a long story short replaced the dual mass flywheel with a flywheel and clutch from south bend that is a high performance pulling clutch becuause he didnt want to have to mess with it again . got the clutch put in and the flywheel and still have the vibration any help would be great . the mechanic said the factory flywheel was bad so we know that the new flywheel helped but its slill vibrating. any help would be great.

Need some more info... Vibration change with RPM?
Change clutch in clutch out?
If you hold the truck at say 1000RPM does it disappear?
While driving or at standstill?

If it is a DD South Bend clutch vibration is normal. I had the same concern after I installed mine.

I think I may know what the problem is. If the OEM unit was vibrating for very long it may have hurt the main bearings. Think about a 80 lb flywheel that is out of balance hanging on the crank... Also we have seen where people leave a cap on the crank that is suppose to be removed. If it is not, the new setup is not flush to the crank and will also cause this vibration. Please give me a call.
