Question "Deleted" 6.7 engine pics?

For all of those that have had the misfortune of your EGR or EGR cooler to "fall off". I would like to see some pics of the engine bay now. Thanks.

What is this?

Is it a makeshift cover for the electric harnesses mounted to the firewall there or something different?

Really? So it just encloses all the harnesses there? I have no such box under the hood of my '08 and haven't seen it on any other 6.7L picture...

Yep, got that thing in the way too.

Gypsyman, I see the EGR gone, but I see the cooler is still there. I looked up your kit and I was thinking that the cooler would be all the way off. Is there something to do with that bypass valve that prevents that from being gone?

That is strange, my 06 is an auto and it doesn't have that.

That's because your 06 is not a 6.7l engine powered truck...

Chris, I've seen pics with the cooler totally removed and the engine looks just like a 5.9. I'll see if I can dig up a pic......

Chris

The cooler can be removed depending on which kit you get. I just haven't had the time to pull it on my own rig yet.

Here are pictures of another members 6.7L with the cooler removed...
