Question Cruise control

Hi,

I am having trouble with the cruise control, when I turn it on and set the speed it works okay for a while then it seems to stop working when you hit a bump in the road. I try to set the speed again but will not work, not sure what to do?
Can someone tell me where the cruise control unit is located in a 2007 dodge ram 2500 6.7l so I can check it out.

Cheers

As far as I know the cruise control is all electronic and part of the ECM programming. I would think it may be a switch problem with the brake pedal. If its worn or a little loose, the lights may not come on but it will be enough for the cruise to think the brake pedal is on.
