Cp3 failure?

I've noticed a drop in power lately and was hoping I was just being paranoid. Well it seems like I might have an issue. I smelled diesel when walking in front of my truck this morning so I popped the hood. The cp3 looks wet and has a drip hanging off the bottom. Also strong smell of diesel.

Should I just replace with a stock pump or is it worth it to get something better?

I'm not big into mods or big power. Deletes are done and I have a smarty I run on setting 3. I deleted for reliability and fuel mileage.

cp3 failure is rare. find the leak and stop the leak. order a inexpensive rail pressure gauge like the auto meter and see if you have a problem and then trouble shoot the problem. do not first blame the pump.

Clean the pump with brake cleaner so you can get a better idea of where the leak is coming from. Be careful looking for the leak. If it is on the high pressure side, the pressure can drive the fuel through skin.
