Convert Quad cab Short box to dually with Mega-cab parts.

It looks horrible...saw one on ebay. They took a Quad/long dually and Mega dually and converted the Mega into a longbox and the Quad into a shortbox with the Mega bed...looked terribly out of proportion

If I ever do this conversion, I would not use rear wheel spacers. I would swap in a complete dually rear axle assembly.

I did find that truck in ebay. Thanks for that information.

If the link doesn't work do a search on "dodge short box dually" under completed listings. It's a white 4x4 QC short box dually.

With the 22.5 Alcoa's installed, that truck does look goofy. But with the stock 17's it looks ok. It sure is different and you have to hand it to the guy who did all that work.

My truck is a lowered 2wd QC short box. I still think it would look fine converted to a short box dually.

Any more thoughts? I am still contemplating this ... Joe

I agree, the QC swb dually looks fine with the stock wheels on it, but looks goofy with the bigh alcoa wheels on it. But I still love my 06 Mega swb dually!!!
