Clutch Slipping
Hello all,
I have a 2007 3500 SLT with the 6 speed. The truck has 30,000 miles on it and the last time I towed my 5th wheel, the clutch started slipping! I called the dealer and they said I need to replace the clutch, and that there is no warranty on this. I'm ready to paint a big yellow lemon on the side of the truck.
Why would a heavy duty truck's clutch start slipping after only 30,000 with very little towing?
I see that others have the same issue. Can anything be done to force DODGE to admit this is not right
Sorry for the

I know, they build the clutch (and transmissions) to "just" barely hold with stock power. I'd replace it as there is no way dodge will go good on it and its not worth fighting as you can't win. Clutches have no warranty and its regardless of manufacturer.
Get one of these and you'll be happy.
