Clutch Slipping

Clutch Slipping

Ok my father in law has a cab and chassis 2007 dually 4x4 reg cab with 6.7 6 speed. Clutch was slipping took it to dealer, replaced clutch, flywheel, pressure plates. I think thats it. Was fine for 200 miles now same thing, all gears escpecaly in reverse. Anyone had promblems ? oh and stock power no upgrades what so ever.

From your post and the others lately I'm beginning to believe that the DMF was not sized to real world conditions and the torque of the CTD. There are guys with 5.9's slipping them so what did they think was gonna happen with the 6.7?

My 6.7 slips mainly in 6th gear. If I am pulling my trailer approx 14klbs it will slip in the lower gears. It does not do it all of the time. Approx 32k miles on truck.

Mine slips in fifth and sixth when pulling even stock. At 700 miles Dodge put new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, etc etc. in it because it chattered so bad the bed shook at take off.
