My cell light came on again. Turned key three times. The first time it did this it showed ------- then after a few it said -d-o-n-e-. Its been about 16k miles and it came back on. Turned key 3x again and it show P2262. I checked it again to be sure what it said "it showed very quickly" and I tuned key again it showed------ then done. No code. Does it only show it 1 time and then store it? Im going to take it in for the P2262 . Just wondering Also is there a new flash out and if so is it safe or what? Thanks

 

It will only show one time via the key method.

The J35 has had mixed results. I havent had it done cause well, I really dont need it...

Id poke around for a bit make sure before I have them flash it.

 

I just renewed by registration last month with no issues or smog needed for me here in CA. However, the last couple weeks, the dealership has been calling me (leaving messages) to come in and get the J35 recall because (aside from any potential smog testing needed) the DMV will not renew registration without this recall being done... Not sure how that would work, and the first I've heard of such a thing; recall completed or no registration?

 

Thanks for the info!! I shut the light off for now, and the truck is running just fine. I will do some research on the J35. I was just braggin on it to my brother who has a new for thats in the shop how well mine has been doing. I did the tailpipe finger rub. My finger was clean. Must mean something is workin for the tree huggers Thanks again for the info.
