Cel Air Filter Service Reminder & March Flash
I had an "Air Filter Service" cel reminder this afternoon (it went out later).
By chance I was in town and had a long discussion with a very experienced diesel tech. The truck has 6K on the odo and air filter was replaced only 1000 miles ago.
He checked everything out and nothing was wrong.
He explained the new March 08' Flash will take care of over senstivity/rationality parameters for the Air Filter Service reminder (sensor controlled by the air box' intake pressure) as well as some adjustments for extending the regen cycle.

I have a stock 5.9 filter on mine figuring it must flow better than the stock 6.7 filter which is really thick. To my surprise I noticed that the minder was pulled down about 2/3rds the way down after only about 1000 miles or so. I'm getting an AFE dry filter next......
