Can a MAP sensor (intake horn) make truck run bad and smoke?
I just cleaned my MAP sensor it was sooted. evidently previous owner deleted dpf/NOX and I suspect dealer or someone hooked back up egr cooler and stuff. so i drove it 5k miles with no dpf & NOX. and egr stuff hooked up and no tuner.
idles like crap smokes white/grey ocassionally black but mostly just white/grey smells like fuel no oil or coolant. I currently have egr stuff unhooked but no tuner. lopes at low rpms fluctuates rpms. feels like only running on 5 cyl or something. fuel filter changed about 1500 miles ago injectors were changed by dealer before I bought it. runs fine at and above 2k rpms but lacks power and smokes like a chimney fire. PLEASE HELP I checked codes on odometer All emission related no CEL never had a check engine light
