Back out of shop

Well took my truck in and had them check the cel that came on again at 700 miles. Was the DPF for the second time. They think the filter is bad but a rep has to come look at it before they will change it under warranty. Tech had made a note that there was black soot in the exhaust pipe and shouldn't be. Also got the new flash AV. Tech said if fixed some cel codes the AU flash was causing. They kind of hinted that the over sized tires could cause warranty issues. Told them i don't think so, it came for the dealership that way new.

Since the truck came with 325/70/17 I'm blinding people so I asked to have the headlights readjusted. They said the truck only can adjust headlights side to side ***. This can't be true, if it is can it be adjusted some other way?

Also had the high idle turned on, but haven't tried it yet.

Also had them adjust the comp. for the larger tires but said 305 was as big as the comp would let them go so they did that.

Will keep you up to date.

I'm running 4.5 " lift with 35's and had to adjust my headlights also... torq screw inside black tube next to light. There is no side to side only vertical adjustment, it does not take much to change them.

I hope so. Really bothers me the way it is. Won't be able look at it until next week.

Ok found the tube with the torx screw that adjusted the headlight. Much better now, can't see the whites in peoples eyes as they drive by. I see why it's confusing as the adjustment is on the inside of the light and looks like it would move it side to side.
Guess the thing that bothers me is the dealership said it only could be adjusted side to side not up and down. Makes it hard to trust there work if they can't even figure out the headlight.

They also said they can't adjust your tire size bigger than a 305?

I'd be finding another dealer. Tire size is adjusted in the TIPM on 6.7L trucks and you just specify a diameter in mm, not the actual tire spec.
