AZ flash

Read on another site that there is an AZ flash available. I believe i read it is strictly a transmission flash. Does anyone have any info about this?

I heard something about this a month ago, I dont know specifics but I heard It had something to do with downshifting and the crappy lugging that our transmissions do!!

That was one of my thoughts!! Before it was and still maybe the 02 sensor and the AU flash, it might be the AZ now. Still need a mechanice or service writer from a dodge dealership to jump in.

The New Up Date Is Av Which Is For Auto Tran Shifting I Post It Last Week On Another Site Has Az It Is Av Came Out 11/15/07 The G30 Recall Is For 02 Sensor Control Module. If You Have The Au Update You Will Not See Any Change .if You Did Not Have The Au Update & Auto Tran It Will Be Updated To Av

Had mine flashed to AV last week. It used to shift from say 2nd, then barely touch 3rd and then into 4th while in town which would drop the rpm down too between 900 and 1000. This seemed to cause the engine to lug, I'm new the diesel but it didn't feel right. Since the flash the rpm's seem to stay a little higher and the engine doesn't seem to lug now. Only have been able to drive 90 miles since but didn't see a change in MPG.
