Axel Fluid and quantity

I have a 4x4 that needs to have the front and rear axle fluid changed.

I just want to be sure that they use the right fluid and quantity - anyone know what it takes?????

To start look at the owner manual , being that its a 07 .

He's got a dodge / Cummins & goes to a lot of the gatherings in the 5 state area .

Generally speaking going to a lube place you get what they have , and can get an attitude if you bring your own , probably many do it them selfs .

It can be had both ways.Non synthetic or synthetic. AAM and Chrysler call for synthetic gear oils.

I thought synthetic was 75W90 and the 80W90 was non-synthetic. Are you saying that you can get either 75W90 or 80W90 in synthetic?

Sorry about that, I was asking Hounddog. What you said is what I thought:

Synthetic comes in 75W90 and is what our diffs should have.

I thought that the 80W90 is regular gear oil and doesn't come in that viscosity as synthetic...
