Anyone changed to new 3.42 gears yet?

I'm curious to know about how much it costs to switch the front and back to the new 3.42 gearsets with the 6speed manual. Seems it would really help that tranny and make all 6 speeds useable. Use low range for the slow work.

I think this would be a good option. With 3.73 gears and 315/70R17 BFG tires I'm just over 2000 rpm in 6th gear at 65mph. Never even use 5th gear on the highway, only around town. Towing with the 3.42 might be a slightly different story, but just shift into 5th as necessary. With the creeper 1st gear, I think starting from a stop with a big load would still be doable with the 3.42 gears.

I tow heavy most of the time. I have 373 and kind of wish I had gotten 410 but I dont do open road driving much. My 373 works ok with me but no way would I go 342 unless I was back in a 2500 or a 3500srw

With my 37" tires I am at 65mph with 1700 rpms and I am getting a little bit better milage because of the tire size ratio makes up for the bigger tires and I can hit over 90 in 5th gear before I have to shift.

Does anybody have the part number for this gear set so that I can get a price from my not so friendly over-priced dealer??
