ABS Light Dings on startup

ABS Light dings at start up then goes out, also when braking to a stop I feel a slight shudder coming from the front end. Just installed new u-joints on axle ground the rotors and new brakes all around. Truck is a 1 ton Mega 2007.5 Any ideas on where to look for the problem?

Any kind of programmer on the truck? My BullyDog for the 5.9 will sometimes do the same thing after I load a different tune. It only does it when I go in reverse though. I use the downloader to clear the code and all is well. Nothing but pure diesel power after that .

Have you checked to verify that the ABS sensors are screwed down all the way in the housings? Other than that the only thing that comes to mind is a possible "dealer flash" of the ECM.

I Have the Black Max, Finally showed up as Lost contact with ABS control module, I flashed it the light quit but still have the shudder when braking to a stop. I haven't checked the sensors as you suggested, good idea after having the work done. But seems to me after clearing the code I would have to wait for it to come on again, Or when dealer flashes it won't show up. (Thanks for the idea) on checking the sensors though.

You might want to check the brake pads to make sure they are seated right and tight
