Man if you can work on jet engines your good to go...

Delete the DPF and EGR is no more mechanically challenging than say, doing a brake job. Installing the Smarty is a matter of plugging into the OBDII port and following the on screen instructions.

Take your time and read some, there are many many post about the deletes on here, lots of good info.

Not to mention if you have any other questions, just ask, lot of good folks on here more than happy to help.

Yes, the egr block off and dpf adjustment are not difficult. Its much easier if you have an assistant to help remove the dpf but if no help is around a jack stand works well also.

Beer helps also.

Reminds me of a guy in Navy basic training that was identified as an alcoholic. Said he didn't see a problem with drinking a 12-pk while working as a mechanic because he was 'a **** good mechanic'.
