6.7 Dual battery

When cold, hard to start and clicking sound coming from driver side battery, is that the battery that the starter is pulling the most power from ? If so can the batteries just be switched ?

It can be done....very temporarily. When one battery goes the other isn't far behind. They both need to be replaced together.

are you finding your batteries draining quickly? I have a similar issue, my truck batteries would die after a short period and gradually got worse until it would only last 1/2 day. I replaced both and now can get about 4 days without starting until dead. Just wondering if this is normal?

NO this is not normal they should last a lot longer than that i let my truck sit for 2 and some time 3 weeks with out starting and it fires right up and it has been really cold here lately like today it was -10 this morning it kinds sounds like you have a dead short somewhere on the truck.

I had the same problem with mine. Turned out that the cheezy engine compartment light had come loose and was hanging down, which left the light on all the time.

This issue has happenned to me twice with dual battery set ups over the last 10 years.
Once it was just a bad battery and I only replaced that one under warranty, they were less than a year old.
The other time I had a short in my RADIO! This was in my Suburban and not my Dodge. I replaced both batteries this time as they had been emptied several times and were 5 years old.
Had a friend with a Ford PU with the same radio short problem.

Auto alarms will pull some juice too if something is not quite right.

It is painful but I would replace both batteries at the same time.
