6.7 check engine light
I have been reading a lot of bad things about the 6.7's.
My check engine light is on again for the same problem code P0245a.
I called the dealer this morning and left a message.
I traded in a 2004 with a 5.9 and had absolutely no issues with that truck.
I not a big emmisions fan, all those sensors and filters. It's all going to need service sooner or later.
Maybe the best choice is to get a 5.9 again.
Just letting off some steam.

Had same issue and returned to the dealer 5 or 6 times for EGR valve cleaning and a reflash. Been about 5000 miles since and have had no further problem.
I understand there is a newer reflash available but I've been reluctant to go back because I think if it ain't broke don't fixit.

I had the same issue with mine. I took it in and got the AU flash put into it, haven't had a single problem since.
There is a recall that just came out last week to replace the oxygen sensor on certain trucks. You can check the Dodge website with your VIN to see if it applies to your truck. If so, get it done. You will get the new sensor and they will reflash you to the latest SW.
I'll bet that will take care of all of your problems. My opinion, if you trade for a 5.9 you are going to lose money and end up with a truck that will be worth less in trade-in value 4-5 years from now. If you plan on keep ing the truck for 10-15 years, go ahead and get a 5.9 especially if you want to add a bunch of performance mods.
If not, keep the 6.7. They have no choice but to get these issues resolved and from what I can see, they are taking care of them.

Well I went to the dealer and they did their stuff.
I am glad I got on the Dodge website and put in my vin#. It said to reprogram ECU and replace O2 module. WOW! This bulletin came out on 10/31/2007. The first thing I did is show the service person this.
They said "we will order the new parts and install them in a day or two and this should fix the problem.
Hopfully,
