Anyone try to put a 5.9 drop in filter into a 6.7 yet? I heard on another site its possible. Or have they come out with any for the 6.7 yet? If you have done this what filter would you recommend?

 

Hey,I think theres a thead called "Increase mpg 25%" that might help. It's just below your thead a bit, see you have a raptor nice, I have a kfx400 and love it but would like the extra power of the 700 for the dunes

 

I have an '08 6.7 that i put my airaid out of my old '04.5 5.9. Fits fine but hear you should caution w/ these new bluetecs.

 

I have a highschool friend that works for a dodge dealer & he tells me i need to talk to their diesel tech before i even change the oil ???

 

I think your correct about mods at this time, thats the reason im going to wait a year or so until dodge gets it correct, My 2003 had a chip,exhuast,airaid ect. and I LOVED IT!!! But with all the reflash recalls,I don't want to give Dodge any reason not to back their product, they have always done me wright in the past but just in case this bluetec thing goes bad I want to be on high ground!!!

 

I do love the raptor I want to get the wife a kfx450. I was just thinking that this would be an easy mod to reverse if you had to go to the dealer. Just put the 6.7l filter back in which would only take 5 minutes.
