GAY! Where do you put your crossbox with them side boxes. Harder to get road head with that mammoth center console Wonder what the manual tranny version is gonna be like? Hope the 2500 & 3500 isn't a low rider like that POS. The only good thing about this is that within the next 100k of owning my 03 QC CTD the price on a fully loaded mega cab CTD will come down. I wish I would have never gotten the 4:10's in my 03. Cr@p mileage even with 34's.

the only thing i like- is that the doors (upper frame) don't curve into the top of the cab anymore.

While I don't pay much attention to "styling", IMO the truck's exterior visuals are a step backward, especially from the frowning front.

Anyway, I hope it's not the HD. If mechanically/structurally they are built better and are more dependable, I'll probably live with it. If they turn out less working durable, I'll consider other brands.

I thought the 3rd Generation trucks were pretty good looking when they were first introduced and, I still do.

83 pics mostly of some jabrone driving, but none of the rear seat folding configuration?i would think they could make the rambox look smoother on the sides but they will sell like hotcakes.

I don't like it from a "work truck" standpoint. What's the first area any work truck gets abused? The tops of the bed rails. How well is that side box going to work once it starts getting beat up a little? How useful are they for people who put on caps, or ladder racks that sit on top of the rails? The interior isn't much better. Lots of sharp corners and flat panels. Looks cheap, like most of the other new trucks. And did anyone else notice the possible coil spring rear axle??? Save that for SUVs.

Look at the seats 2:00 into this video. Those of you screaming and crying about not having bench seats anymore will see that the seat configuration in that truck was a 40/20/40 bench seat with raiseable center console, just like we have now.

For those of you screaming about the side boxes interfering with toolboxes and headache racks and the such, look at the original pictures. The blue truck does NOT have the side mount tool boxes and has standard width bed rails, meaning the side boxes will be an option. There will be the choice to get the truck without these so you can still put toolboxes and headache racks and bed rails on the truck. Let's not be too terrified of change here, people.

that last video confirmed what you mentioned...coil spring rear suspension. for all the doctors and lawyers driving their trucks around town i suppose that will be nice, but from a work truck standpoint that is completely unacceptable. surely it will not make it to the 2500/3500 line.

I like the bench front seat too - I know w/ 08's it's a ~$450 option to get the bucket seats, hopefully with 09+'s it's just an option as well.

The heavier 2500/5500 trucks will not have coils in the back. 70% of 1500 owners are personal use type, that is why the one truck with the RamBox is geared toward them. Also you will still be able to get a 40 20 40 seat with no console.

Boy, what a bunch of whining. First most of you and other Dodge people asked for a Ford like interior, now you get one and you whine.
You wanted a nice ride, you get one and you whine. You wanted the big rig look to stay and it has, yet you whine. Some of you say the interior is junk, Have you sat in them? The interior is great (read) http://www.allpar.com/model/ram/2009-ram.html you see the words soft and higher quality and you whine (and you haven't even sat in them yet)

Sorry to sound like I'm whining about all your whining but just read and wait till you feel and see it in person!
