For some reason it reminds me of a F-150 and tundra combined. Im sure I'll get used to it. I hated the gen 3 bodystyle when they came out and now I own one. Love the beer..eehhh..can cooler and factory dual exhaust. I wonder if the storage in the box sides is standard. With that door there you couldn't put a crossover style toolbox in the bed.

In my opinion I think it looks like a Ferd and a Dakota slammed in to each other....I really dont like it and dont know if this one will grow on me...but thats just my opinion. Why cant they leave well enough alone. I traded an 05 for an 06 and an 06 for an 07. Cant they just leave it alone for 5 years or so, atleast till its paid off!

Don't think so. If you look at the blue one (the non-laramie) it does not have the bedside tool boxes. I would be willing to bet that bed configuration will be an option, not standard.

Interior = Chevrolet

I considered buying a GMC before getting this 2008 Dodge. I spent a little time driving them and riding with some guys that have them. The 2009 Dodge 1500 really reminds me of a fullsize GM on the inside, more car than truck in my opinion. If you covered all the interior badging and only showed someone the interior pics you could convince them that it is a 07.5-08 GM truck.

I am sure we will still see a 40/20/40 bench seat for the front as an option. I can't imagine Dodge bringing a new light duty work truck to the market with nothing but bucket seats. Keep in mind that, with these pictures, Dodge is trying to show all the cool, neat, new stuff they are bringing for the new model year. We are looking at a 1500 4x4 Laramie package and a 2wd sport package. We are seeing every high-priced option available. I think there will still be the bench seats, especially in the 2500/3500 configurations.

I like it, Dodge did their homework on this one. The interior is flat out awesome, nice to see that they picked up their game in that department. The front end looks chargerish. It'll be interesting to see when the new V8 Cummins hits production.

When I can afford one in the next few years, I'll definately be taking a hard look at one.

Let see 99, 03, 05, 07, guess I can wait till 2010 for a 3500. like some of the features but the bed looks a little skinny with the tool box sides. Sure hope I can fit the 4-wheeler in it.

I agree with you completely. It might grow on me though. I am glad I got the 08.
