Can't tell anything from those pictures... there are inserts under the camoflauge to disguise the true body lines.

They aren't completely incorrect in calling the new diesel a V8, they just got the displacement wrong... there is a 5.6L Cummins V8 coming for the 1500...

Graphite, your still over the top on displacement, but I can't say by how much. At this point we're not even sure it will be a V-8, a V-6 is more likely.

The 1500 is for sure a V-8, 5.6L The V-6 that is coming is for the Durango/Dakota.

2005 Govt. Report

By all means... if you have more info, do tell. All of the other published(web) information has stated year after year that the two engines under development have been a 4.2L V6 and a 5.6L V8...

stick with the 07 and 08's I think this new front end design might be a disappointment like the new Dakota body style was.

Guy's! The sky is not falling yet. Chill out. As a previous poster all ready said they put all kinds of pading and junk under the covers as to disguise what is really under there. Besides, don't put much faith in that short little article, they called our 6.7 Cummins a V8 after all.

It's a small V8, not a 6.
