Question 2007 dodge pickup or chassis

I went to my dealer and he has a dodge 3500 dually with the 6 speed automatic and also a dodge cab and chassis that he sent to western hauler to have a bed put on and all the towing stuff done. He will sell both at the 'invoice' which is 51,460 for the 3500 dually and 51,000 for the western hauler. The western hauler has the Aisin Transmission, gooseneck hitch, brake controller, 90 gallon auxiliary tank, and the diamond plate bed has been sprayed with line-x.
Now if I was able to get 45,000 or so for the Western Hauler do you guys think it would be a good deal? Both dodge trucks have the same packages such as the laramie. Is it true that the cab and chassis have a different frame and other things? I will be using this to haul horses.
Thanks so much! I look forward to getting rid of my Ford and into my new dodge!

The pickup has a 68rfe auto tranny, and a 350hp engine, whereas the C&C has the Aisin auto tranny, the 305hp engine, and a slightly beefier frame and rear suspension.

That C&C you're looking at sounds like it's set up sweet to haul horses...

Differant frame and more fuel tank as well as the Asisn auto which is NOT offered on the dually. The C&C is more then just a bed delete.

At or above 51,000 sounds more like MSRP rather than invoice, JMHO

No because the sticker says 59,000 is Msrp. I drove it again and it so quiet compared to my ford and feels great. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the price down?
Thanks a lot.

I'd go for the cab & chassis, the Aisin seems like it's gonna be a good tranny, & if it's not it's at least got a 180,000 mile warranty!! & also the spring packs on the pickup & c&c aren't even close, Dodge FINALLY put a set of springs on a truck!! I love my cab & chassis with the G56 6spd. can't wait to get the bed on it so I can try out the 6.7L with a load!! the only thing I didn't like about the c&c is they wouldn't put a sunroof in it for me!! LOL Dusty

That sounds kinda steep on the price. I would get the C&C for the Aisin tranny. The western hauler bed, tank,GN hitch makes it where you are ready to go. Wouldn't worry to much about the different hp ratings. Easiler to latch that GN hitch. No climbing into the bed.
