Got my MyGig RER installed today, and all I can say is it's awesome!!!
Too about two hours to do the job minus bezel mod. Goona work on that tomorrow but I do have a navagation bezel coming Monday. I'd like to keep the cubby but I'm not crazy about seeing the remnants of the cutouts from the ***** on the standard bezel.
I installed;
MyGig
Lockpick adapter
U-connect rear view mirror & harness
Nav antenna
Sirius antenna extension
Rearview camera(finish up tomorrow)
This mod is awesome!!! Even the wife liked it, after I showed her how to watch a video, LOL

So, for those of you considering it, and maybe on the fence, do it man, it's AWESOME!!!

Finished hooking up the b/u cam yeasterday. The court is still out on that one. That's gonna take some getting used to. I will say they don't spare much cam cable, if it wasn't a short bed, it wouldn't have reached!

 

I'm not real happy with the little eylets left from the stock radio, and I did cut to much of the bottom out. I might get another faceplate from a bone yard and try to work with it alittle more. Anybody else have any success getting rid of the eylets? I do have a nav bezel and filler, but I wanted to try and keep my cubby.

 

Looks nice! I did mine about a year ago. Have had a little trouble with the mygig lately where it would work but NO audio!!!!! Had to pull it out, and do a hard reset by removing power. Started working again after that. Also take a look at some of my previous threads as I posted a bunch of pics.
