Have an 07.5 with only 29k miles. It is an extra vehicle used mostly to pull my 5vr. Naturally out of warranty. What's up with this? Anyone else have this problem? I haven't hit anything and do not see damage to the core? Seems pathetic that a modern vehicle has radiator issues this early in it's life. Thanks,

My radiator also sprang a leak about 2 years ago (don't remember mileage but it may have been close to yours). It was a tiny pinhole leak at the top of the radiator. It was replaced under warranty. So far (55k miles) the new radiator has been holding up.

 

Are you sure it is the radiator? I've seen a bit of discussion on the board about water pumps.

 

well I don't see anything dripping except at the bottom of the radiator?? Real slow drip that takes a couple of days for it to put 1 gallon or so in a bucket?? I see you sold you 07.5 and now have an 09. Any particular reason or just needed a 3500?

 

Yeah, sounds like it is the radiator then. As for the reason for selling the 07.5, I "needed" a 3500 dually.

You might check the radiator overflow tube where it leaves the fill neck. I had a small leak from my 07.5. I just zip-tied it and had no more issues.
