06 computer in an 08 truck?????

06 computer in an 08 truck?????
Would it be possible to install a computer from a 2006 in my 2008?
I know the 2006 would be 5.9, and my 2008 is 6.7.
If this could be done, it would take care off all the Exhaust, and EGR problems.
I don’t know what would happen as for fuel requirements from 5.9 to 6.7, but with a programmer, I don’t see this as a problem.
My main concern is, what would this do to the rest of the truck, Instruments, overhead, etc.

it's been done, pretty much everything off the 5.9 has to be switched on to the motor with it if you plan on doing it that way. If you have an automatic it just makes it that much harder because the 5.9 compy is programmed for a 4 speed auto.
