Well I'm not sure but I think the trans might be starting to show signs of giving up. Last night on the way home from work absolutely no problems and I was thinking of going ahead and ordering a new turbo today...this morning I got in the truck back out and the truck was sluggish through 1st RPMS came up to 2k before the truck would start to get going. It repeated this the whole way to work every time I'd bring it to a full stop and then start back up it up to 2k and then start rollin.

Checked the fluid level and its full and bright red, no burnt smell. Truck currently has 80,153 miles and it was last changed out approx. 18,000 miles ago.

Thoughts?

You are sure its starting out in 1st and not 3rd?

 

Coming to a complete stop and sitting at a light and I'm counting the shifts as im getting back up to 65. Yes, i'm positive its doing this in first.

 

Received a call back from Dave at Goerend Transmission and we spent probably a good 2 hours on the phone Sat diagnosing the problems with the trany. Looks like I might have a broken 2nd band thats causing the problem. Either way the appointments been set and I'm taking the truck out to Iowa on the 17th of April to get fixed and upgraded

I have to say it was way cool of Dave to call me on a Sat and spend his day off talking me through the tranny tests and then going over my options for upgrades to the trans for what I would like the truck to do.

I'll report back after I get the truck back.
