I need a little help on figuring out if my truck is a 04 or actually an 04.5. Every dealer that I call has not a clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under the hood, look on the drivers side valve cover. there is a white sticker.
some give the HP, some give the Torque value.

305HP or 555TQ is true 04

325HP or 600TQ is the 04.5

also you can look under the truck on the passengers side and see if there is a CAT. that is an 04.5

 

also look at the wastegate, 03-04 it is mechanical and 04.5+ it is electric.
