won't go into gear

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. I have a 2006 3500 4X4 mega cab with a 6 speed manual trans. I had a problem getting it to shift into gear. Took it to a dealer and they replaced a master cylinder. Seemed to be working fine for a month until this morning. Could not get it to go into reverse, 1st or 2nd with out putting all my muscle into it. Took it back to a dealer to have them check it out. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions. this truck only has 33,000 miles on it!

Sounds like the clutch is not disengaging all the way. Forcing it is hard on the trans, better off shutting the truck off and putting in gear then starting it. On my 99 I had the same thing going on and it was actually the clutch disk started to come apart. Beware if it is a clutch, thats a wear item and not usually covered under warranty. Also if you do need a clutch look up South Bend Clutch, the have excellent products and the customer service is second to none!

dodge called me back and said that they new about this. Apparently there is a spring inside of the clutch that breaks and binds up some release doohicky. Anyway they are replacing my clutch under warrenty so that is comforting.
