Wobble in front end.

I have read for months on here about all the death wobble issues and what people are doing to correct it. I have come to the conclusion that no two are alike. No one knows what will fix each individual truck? Am I right in this? I know all my suspension components are tight and new and I cant drive my truck at 70mph without this issue showing up. I guess this post is my last cry for help before I do what I have to do. I just cant see throwing parts at a truck until something sticks in hopes to fix a defect? If one of you guys has some solid hard core evidence to back up and justify replacing some part then please offer it up. I need solid, proven evidence to go on if possible but I understand if thats not possible. If I cant get this issue resolved then I guess I will have to convert back to the old ways of truck selection I guess? Give me what you got guys please?

Well, before you buy parts, first try going in for caster adjustment, realignment, and ensure balancing on tires. should't cost all that much, and has been "reported" to fix some. After that, seems to be open season on what parts you pull the trigger on next. This is where I am currently.

mine has a death wobble, trackbar`s supposedly go bad on these.
solid axle and coils, dodges & jeeps have the same issues.

Already did the caster deal. I went as far positive as possible and it made it worse. I am now running the truck as far negative as the ecentics will allow and its the same thing. I am at a loss. Do you think converting to leaf springs on the front would help out? I am a fabricating fool and would love a good challenge if it would make my truck better!

it won't cost anything to remove the sway bar and give it a try. Who knows, you might like the ride better.

I feel your pain buddy.. Mine does it and has done it from day one!! I can feel something in the front end is not right.. I have tried it all been to the dealer twice and the first time was the truck's problem.. Ball joints shot at 5000 miles???? I am getting new tires monday so we'll see if it's the infamous bfg's or not???

Update. With some creative thinking I was able to muster a few more degrees of negative caster out of the lower control arms. As of right now, the truck is working great. The feel is 100% better. I havent gotten it up to 80mph and tried to hit the bumps that set it off, but the shake just before it started to do this is gone. I will give it one good blast down my back country road when no one is around and see what happens. I love the way the steering feels right now. Its easy to steer, the ride is smooth, and it still holds a strait line. I will keep you guys posted as to how it turns out after my higher speed tests.

As it stands right now, the only alignment tips I have to offer is set it to the lower end of the specs if not completely out of specs on the lower end. I know that all trucks are different, thats why there are adjustments, but thats where mine seems to be happier, this week at least. I would rather get some more miles on mine before I start suggesting this to anyone. I will keep you posted.

Not trying ot hijack this thread, but it is the same title I was going to use. Just yesterday, I noticed when I was turning almost locked out on the steering wheel, I got this wobble that felt like I had a wheel that was about to come off. I came home and checked things out and evrything looks ok. I have a loud clunk when I am turning. I called the dealership thinking it was maybe a hub/bearing that I needed to replace, but then he mentioned maybe the balljoints on the axle.

I do not see any obvious signs that a ball joint are worn, but is there anyway that I can test them further? I am ready to drop this thing off a cliff... Or trade it in.

I would check the hub bearings but also check the axle
u-joints. I have seen some fail and cause a binding when turning full lock left or right. They also make some noise when they are dry!
