Wix fuel filter

I had to put a Wix fuel filter in until the (backordered) Fleetguard comes in from Geno's... Will it be ok to run it for a couple weeks?

The wix 33585 is a 10 micron filter, they also make a 7 micron, which is 33585XE. The 7 micron is what i've been using. I've had great luck with wix filters.

That should be fine as long as you change it later.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have already ordered the Fleetguard 7 micron. Had to use the Wix in a pinch. I always used Wix's on my gasburners with no problems.

You can order factory direct from Wix at a substantial discount by setting up an account at Filter1.com. Free shipping for orders over $50 and they will give the absolute best price anywhere. No shyt.

They also have a cool feature for people with numerous vehicles or fleet management that allows you to maintain a vehicle order form on the web site listing all your filters, broken down by vehicle, type, etc. Very cool.
