Mine sounds like it is coming from the windows or doors. I had checked all the windows and the doors were all closed. This was the 1st time that I really noticed it. Haven't been on the interstate since to see if it is still doing it. I notice it at about 70-75.

FWIW - Our 01 started getting some wind noise and found out the seal around the windsheild was loose and letting air and noise in.

Might be worth looking at,

Right were your door meets the front fender, right behind the hinges going toward the front of the truck they have some kind of foam thingy I guess for wind noise and draft, mine is just there no glue or anything maybe yours is falling off or is missing.

See if my picts show up here.

My 06 started having wind noise at about 15000 miles. I found that if you push out on the driver`s window at the top it got worse. The dealer adjusted it & at 44000 still no noise.

It sounds likwe the morror but it is actually your door seal leaking cuz the door over time has warped out gently bend the top of the door (with the window down) back towards the cab...place a wood block close to the door latch...and the noise will stop

Wind Noise

Hi Guys,

My truck was making a lot of wind noise at 70 mph. I was getting really upset with it when I found the problem. If you have electric windows try this. On the driver side window just bump the window switch for down to let it take the pressure of the the top window seal. If you watch it when you roll it up and down it will move the window seal at the bottom and the top of the window. Play with the switch and you can stop a lot of the wind noise. I need to take it to the dealer to see if they can adjust how far the window rolls up. Good luck guys.
