will a second gen DD fit a 06 g56?

will the double disk clutch from my 2nd gen fit an 06 5.9 with the G56?

Noop, you have to get the kit with the one piece flywheel. Also, I think the input shaft if different from the NV5600 to the G56. Call SouthBend and ask them.

I tried calling today and couldnt get a hold of anyone. They are pretty busy people over there. This one peice flywheel sounds interesting I'll have to look into it.

Yes, it does away with the Dual Mass flywheel piece of junk. No doubt a big improvement over stock.
