Who has 35"tires? How do yo like them?

I can get a set of 315/75/16 bfgoodrich aggressive tires used for 200 mounted. I went and looked at them and they are in great shape. Here's muy questions.
I have an 06 spd. Will they help or hurt my mileage? I will be running an xzt box.
How much higher will me truck sit. Actually how tall are the stock tires?
Will they gear me too high with my 3.73's
Will they fit and can I turn?
They gotta look awesome. Thanks for the help. Jim

Here are my "FREEBIES", 315s. It cost me $40.00 to mount and balance.

They may or may not hurt your mileage, it depends on your (R) foot. They will rub unless you install a 2'in leveling kit.

I don't want to get into a leveling kit. If they are going to rub I might better pass. Nice looking tires for the money though.Jim

I would mount 1 up and see what happens. Some of these trucks they rub, others, they don't? Don't know why.

I thought about that. I was going to put them on in the spring. Right now I am buried in the snow. I can't picture them being good in the snow. They sure look big. I am ure I could resell them. Jim

I've got the BFG 315's and I don't have any problem. I can't say if they decrease milage since I put them on before I even had a 1000 miles on the truck. I'm on my 2nd set now. The 1st set lasted till I got about 60K miles.

i put a set of 35s on my old truck and i did not like em for a daily driver.. i had a noticeable loss in power and my MPG droped....i just put a set of 285s on my 2500 and i love em. no power loss and my MPG has not changed...ok yes it does not look as good as the 35s did but with the price of fuel i was not concerned about looks....

You can't fit 16s on your truck dude! Your rims are 17".
If the tires are 17" then they will fit and you will get the slightest rub at full lock. No problem..... I did lose 1 mpg with these though...
Check my gallery...

The 35's will just barely rub...the only time the leveling kit will be absolutly necessary is if you have a plow....because they will rub alot with the plow on...i have 35/12.50/17 cooper stt's on both my trucks and love them..........and for the places i go they are needed......and the whole not good in the snow thing is a myth...........big tires are better in the snow.....instead of sinking you will be like a big snow shoe.......and with the aggresive lugs is much better............trust me.....been snowplowing for years............let me know

I love my 35's just don't like how the 5er sits nose high even with axels flipped. I will be going with 33's next time. 35's do rob alot of power but if you have a box all is good.
