Where to Hook Boost Gauge?

I have a 05 cummins, and have recently purchased an auto meter boost gauge. They sent be a clear hose with it and a T- fitting and it says to tap into the vaccum hose or pressure port on engine. I have looked to see if i could find the place and i didnt want to cut anything until i knew for sure. So if somebody could please tell me where it is. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Lance

Probably the easiest way to do it with little chance of screwing anything up is to use a boost bolt. It is a hollow bolt that replaces one of the bolts in your intake manifold. Then you just screw one of the fittings that came with the gauge line into the top of the bolt. Piers Diesel Research makes them and a few vendors sell them. If I remember correctly, I ordered mine from John at Diesel Performance Shops. It was either from there or Diesel Performance Products. Both places have top notch customer service.

This is by far the easiest way.
