here is a good shot of the sensor area...

I talked with a guy who actually pulled the bearing assembly apart and repacked it. He took many pics and I tried to get him to do a writeup but he was short on free time...

I just packed mine when I replaced rotors.
3/16 allen wrench to pull censer. I used the
end of allen wrench to pack bearing.

I used a surenge, i hope i spelled that right, i packed it with grease, then had my buddy spin the hub while i injected the grease, did that twice, it really works well except the part where i broke my ABS sensor removing it, its really not that hard to do just a little time consuming, but well worth since it could yeild alot more time the stockers will last, and at $250+ a peice its kinda worth it!

I have 247,000 on mine and never tried greasing them.....I don't think you can get ant grease in the bearing with this method.

Isn't it a sealed bearing ? Sealed bearings that I have seen have a rubber cover to keep the grease in. I would think you would have to punture that to get grease in. Maybe I'm wrong.

The ABS provides access to the sealed bearing. Not the same as packing regular bearings but it seems to extend the life so for a squirt or so, why not.

To bad there is not a long grease fitting that could be used to hold ABS sensor and allow grease to be pumped in. Would be nice!

But it wouldn't generate much in replacement part sales

Does anyone have pictures of a hub taken apart? I threw mine out when I put the free-spin setup on and now I'm curious about this "sealed" bearing question. Are the bearings themselves sealed or are they in a closed case that can simply have grease added?

When you pull ABS censer, turn hub and you can see bearing turn.
there is no covering over bearing other then censer.

So what is the best kind of grease to use. Mobile 1 syn? I have herd that it can be bad to mix oil. Would be funny to wipe out a bearing trying to save it.
