I don't know his location but it is a plow truck so it is from a cold climate and I know if he is from Alberta like I am he does need a grid heater as well as a block heater. Also he mentioned a storm (I'm assuming a snow storm).

Finally got them out.

Sorry guys, I didn't know anyone replied on here since my last post. The mechanic I had it at for over a month finally just gave up??? He said he didn't know what was wrong and didn't want to work on it anymore. His excuse was he didn't have all the proper diesel injector removal tools that where required to do the job. I was dreading this, now I have to do what 3 mechanics couldn't do or where afraid to do. I was dragging my heals getting it towed home, but finally did last night. I was giving myself a week to get those injectors out... Maybe do one a day I thought.... I friggen got all 6 out in 4hrs this morning! Woohoo! And 4 of 6 lines where seized up onto the connector tubes. Someone told me to shoot air into the inlet of each injector and if fuel or air came out then they were bad. Oh, btw... Special tools? Yeah I just pulled them out with my hands??? Anyways injectors 1&2 looks fairly clean and normal if I even know what normal should look like, but as I shot air into them they both sprayed a little fuel out then bubbles and then air would hiss out of the tiny spray nozzles. #3 looked kind of burnt and not so clean but when I shot air in nothing came out of the holes, I think on,y one more had some bubbles but no air coming out and the other two had nothing. So half had fuel and air come out and the other half nothing happened, so I'm guessing at least half of my injectors are junk? Right? I found on eBay at Pensacola diesel, they have rebuilt injectors with new Bosch control valves and nozzles for only $1119 a set. Does this sound to good to be true? They said they would check my injectors and wouldn't charge me for that if they were bad and I bought their injectors. I'm just going to buy a full set anyways. I have 50hp injectors in there now, pros and cons with going with the same 50hp? At this point I just want to drive my truck.

I don't think the injectors you found on e-bay are the way to go. They might work and they might last a little while, but in the end you will wish you didn't waste your time and money. Go new, you can find them from Injectors Direct for around 330 each if you buy all six at once. There are other companies that sell them for about the same price. Get new tubes at the same time. You will be able to drive your truck and know it is going to last.
