Diver door weather strip 2ea sepentine belts ( 1st at 30,000 or so 2nd one at 42,000) drive shaft center bearing, caused by bad u-joint 1ea U-joint on rear drive shaft just changed |
Truck purchased 3/31/04; I have about 32,000 miles now.
1. 5400 miles (8/13/04): stock belt shredded, no apparent reason, dealer replaced, but require a tow. If that were to happen now (or again) I would have the belt chirp TSB done, which didn't exist at the time 2. 19,000 miles (12/05): CP3 pump started leaking. Took a month for the replacement pump to come in, no problems since Replaced the stock Americra...I mean General Ameritracs with GY Wrangler GSAs this past December. That's it, except for regular service, etc. |

Oh yeah, forgot transfer case seals twice, tranny and oil cooler lines, and tranny cooler.... sigh :( |
I have 52,000 miles with no major repairs, I need to do my balljoints and the only 2 things other then that is the door seals and cab lights leaked. I love my truck and if you take care of them they'll take care of you in the long run.

Absolutely did. The tranny and the U-joints were from heavy towing, but the rest I can't see attributing to operator abuse. I learned my lesson not to buy the first year of a new model. [dummy]
