39k miles. A/C compressor. Infamous #4 fuel supply line - left me stranded. Re-flash when pretty new for slow cranking, tank vent recall, fixed myself. Another bulletproof Cummins here. Just kidding, love my truck. Anything mechanical will break. Think I would rather have a 12 valve dropped into my truck tho because of all the electronics and HPCR.

Oh, forgot about recirculate door broke. Easy fix, threw it away.

My '03 3500 QCSB .....
Bought it at 69k miles, traded it in at 90k for my '08.
Replaced both batteries, hub bearings, and did the complete 90k mile service for the trade in. They only wanted to give me $10,500 for a trade-in value till I showed them all my maintenance records. They ended up giving me almost another $6k because I had all my ducks in a row.

My '06 2500 QCSB .....
Bought it at 27k miles, sitting around 38k now.
30k maintenance and the blend door.

My '08 3500 QC longbed
Bought it new, sitting at 3700 miles. Added the Titan fuel tank to it and you have to love 50 gallons of fuel in the OEM spot. My wife drives it once a week to get it up to operating temp, brings it home and parks it back in the garage. It sucks having a brand new truck that I can drive for 30 days of the year, but it's mine and I've earned it so there is always a silver lining.

Other than normal oil changes, tire rotations, and the steering linkage recall, the only things I've had to do are just the normal stuff.

Okay, I know you'll all be shocked because I think Dodge makes a crappy truck....

But mine actually hasn't had many problems....

Two new u-joints at 45,000 miles.
Replaced the track bar bushings with Lukes Links at 62,000 miles. The OEM bushings were fine, just junk.

That's it for me. 2 u-joints. But I am getting the 1-2 hunt now.
I take good care of the truck, and I am not happy with the cheap shortcuts Dodge took making these trucks.

Repairs...

We have had 3 Dodge Ram 4x4 2500 with Cummins.
1st 2001, sold at 60,000 and no repairs.
2nd 2003, sold at 54,000 and no repairs
3rd, 2005, @ 103,000 replaced water pump, will change belt soon. Had the lumbar snap on the driver side, bought the part, $35.00. Need to put it in. The first 2 trucks were the standard cloth seats, etc, the 2005 is top of the line, Lamarie with all options. Will keep this one a while.

My sister has 1997 2500, 2wd, she just replaced the clutch slave cyl at 140,000. Brakes once and the fuel filter at 80,000 when I told her it had one[laugh] She tows a horse trailer with the sleeping quarters. We only use ours to tow a 23' offshore boat and the tractor once "N" a while.

Interesting, all the F250 and Chevy owners that hang out with my sister have switched to Dodge after a few trips over the mountains with her in the lead.[coffee]
